Shortly thereafter, I turned on the bedside lamps and discovered one was missing a bulb.
The bellman asked if we had any questions or concerns before exiting. We called for our bags and they arrived in a very short amount of time. Check-in was a breeze and our room was just as we expected it - large and comfortable. We were greeted by the parking attendant with smiles and assistance. Since this was going to be our 3rd trip to Vegas together (and my 10th), we felt we had seen all we needed to see (excepting City Center) and wanted some place that would keep us entertained. We knew we wanted a place where we could get away and just REST for a solid week and we knew that South Point would fit the bill. Our careers keep us nearly exhausted all the time.
By our second night there, we knew we wanted to return for an extended stay. My wife and I discovered South Point by accident just after it opened.
